Yes, yes, yes... I know adoring fans I have been missed. The truth is I was encapsulated in a time machine and am now just emerging from a long journey through the space time continuum.
Okay, I am a liar.. I have been a lazy uninspired individual. In the time I returned from Europe I found myself moving twice, back to Bend, then down to LA. I have settled into a new career, and the chaos of this city consumed me wholly. Tonight however I find asylum in music and the written word.
I gave up coffee.. yes incredible I know. How the liquid black gold will never pass these lips again makes me cringe, but for my health I have switched to Mate' and it seems to do the same trick, if only it tasted as phenomenally delicious. What the hell am I going to do when I visit Seattle??? That's it.. I will just have to suffer and embrace Stumptown.
My fingers are like rusty joints attempting to crank out the written word... this is not like riding a bike, I have to be witty and come up with interesting things to discuss.. not that I ever did, but who cares it was good for me.
This new place, this dark cit, clouded by individuals with blinders, focused on a four inch frame of few that only incorporates their lives problems and avoids human interaction that doesn't include obscene words or gestures. This city, is not like I am used to, and it consumes you, your spirit and being. But at least my apartment is kick ass... Though I could go without the whole drunkards leaving the local bar and depositing vomit and urine outside my window each Friday and Saturday evening... oh and what a joy, I caught a homeless man dropping a deuce right across from my back gate, and I am talking straight shot of everything... I managed to scare him off and even threatened to the point that he picked up his prize and took it with him.. yeah, point for Mr. A...
The garage roof leaked when we moved in, and they were supposed to fix it... oh wait that was seven months ago... Today they finally managed to rip off the roof (only after my roomie and I woke up at 6am to empty its entire contents). Is it a win? Well, if I don't have to step out on my patio each morning to be greeted by a giant blue tarp, then I would say yes..
And I am spent.
